Data fusion aims to help us extract knowledge from data being input into a system. Such data can come from a variety of different sources at either an instance in time, or over a particular time period. The main roles of data fusion are twofold – that of increasing the amount of knowledge we can derive from data / information, and that of reducing information overload.
We have a range of data fusion skills and technologies, covering all aspects of data fusion, including data alignment and association, tracking, identification, behaviour recognition, impact assessment and sensor re-tasking based on current information. These skills have been applied to a broad variety of applications.
